About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel for Research and Innovation to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key legal and business partner, providing strategic guidance to the organization's research, innovation, and clinical leadership. This role involves navigating a wide range of complex and evolving issues, including research collaborations, technology development, data sharing and licensing, intellectual property rights, and industry partnerships. The AGC will play a critical part in ensuring that the company's reputation, nonprofit status, and long-term strategic interests are protected. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position should have a minimum of 8 years' legal experience in handling research matters, with a strong background in advising on regulatory, transactional, and/or corporate issues within the healthcare industry. Experience in supporting academic medical centers or research institutions as in-house counsel is highly preferred. The role requires a professional who can effectively manage the legal aspects of the company's research and innovation activities, and who is adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
